Ամերիկայի Միացյալ Նահանգները տոնեց Անկախության օրը

Հյուրերին ուղղված իր խոսքում ԱՄՆ դեսպան Թրեյսին վերահաստատեց Միացյալ Նահանգների աջակցությունն Հայաստանի ժողովրդավարական զարգացումներին։

«Մեր փոխգործակցության դաշտն ընդգրկում է ժողովրդավարական հաստատությունները, քաղաքացիական հասարակությունը, ազատ և արդարացի լրագրությունը, տնտեսական աճը, էներգետիկ բազմազանեցումը, ներառական կրթությունը, առողջապահական ծառայությունների բարելավումը, ջրի հասանելիության մեծացումը, անվտանգային համագործակցությունը, մշակութային ժառանգության պահպանությունը, փոխանակման ծրագրերը և մարդասիրական նախաձեռնությունները։ Մենք գործակցել ենք հայ մարդկանց հետ՝ կառավարությունում և կառավարությունից դուրս, մեր դիրքորոշումները կիսող դիվանագետների և միջազգային կառույցների հետ և ԱՄՆ քաղաքացիների, մասնավորապես՝ հպարտ ամերիկահայերի հետ։ Այս համագործակցության ակունքներում ընդհանուր արժեքներ ունենալու գիտակցումն է։ Այս փոխգործակցության ուժն է, որ օգնել է մեզ ապահովել այն նշանակալի առաջընթացը, որի ականատեսն ենք եղել Հայաստանում վերջին 30 տարվա ընթացքում», - ասաց դեսպան Թեյսին հյուրերին ուղղված իր խոսքում։

Հանդիսավոր արարողության ընթացքում հնչեցին Հայաստանի և Միացյալ Նահանգների ազգային օրհներգերը՝ սիրված «Հովեր» պետական կամերային երգչախմբի 5 երգիչների կատարմամբ: Այս տարվա տոնակատարությունը նվիրված էր հայ-ամերիկյան հարաբերությունների երեսնամյակին։

“The stories of our partnership encompass support for democratic institutions, civil society, free and fair journalism, economic growth, energy diversification, inclusive education, improved healthcare, access to water, security cooperation, preservation of cultural heritage, exchange programs, and humanitarian needs. We have partnered with Armenians in and out of government, like-minded diplomats and international organizations, and American citizens, including proud Armenian-Americans. The tie that has animated this cooperation has been a shared sense of values. And, it is the power of these partnerships that has helped drive the significant progress we have seen in Armenia over the past thirty years,” Ambassador Tracy said in her remarks.

Five members of the renowned Hover State Chamber Choir performed the Armenian and U.S. National Anthems in honor of the occasion. The theme of the event is the 30^th anniversary of the U.S. – Armenia relationship.
